It most likely would've poisoned enemies, as with Toxic Bite, and may have been usable by Phantom Mangle and Springtrap, since their fixed counterparts, Funtime Foxy and Spring Bonnie, are the only characters with Cosmic Song. Though it is also possible that Ballboy was ment to look like this, and the model was instead used for a boss and the said changes were made. Browboy may have originally been a normal enemy, or it may have been some type of placeholder. In the game's files, what appears to be a Ballboy with the colors and face of Browboy can be found. This enemy could be Mechrab's early design, or also removed due to glitching and bugs. In the first trailer, there appears to be a Mechrab-type enemy, but with its shell painted gold. These enemies were probably removed before the game after testing because of glitching and bugs. Though these enemies aren't in the final game, their models are reused for the current enemy Prototype. In the earlier photos and trailer of the game, there was a strange looking robotic bear with a spinning purple bowtie. It might come back in the next update for FNaF World, or not at all. It is most likely for opening the chest when finding one on the 3D Overworld, but it was scrapped along with it. It was found in the 1st Glitch World files. There's no way to trigger it, and the box appears to have nothing in it. There appears to be a file of the chest from Five Nights at Freddy's 4, but this time open. It has sence returned to the game and now exists, though it looks diffrent than the current version.
There was originally 3D overworld for the game, but it "didn't really fit with the lore", so it was scrapped.
